What to Expect
WHAT TIME & HOW LONG?
Our services start at 10 AM every Sunday and last about an hour. Folks come early and stay late to sip coffee and chat with friends.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located at 2083 Sunset Cliffs Blvd., on “church row” in Ocean Beach. MTS Route 923 is the nearest bus line.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Our parking lot is located off of Brighton Ave., behind the church. Follow the signs to enter the church through the double red doors off Sunset Cliffs.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come as you are. We are an informal community.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
We love kids! There is a children’s area with a childcare worker in our worship space so that parents and guardians can see their kids while they participate. We welcome the sounds and sights of children in our worship and follow strong safety protocols.
WHAT IS YOUR SERVICE LIKE?
We sing, pray, reflect on Scripture, and take communion. Our worship is rooted in ancient tradition, but our service is casual and easy to join – everything you need to participate is included in your bulletin.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Everyone. We believe that all people are created in God’s image. Therefore, all are welcome to participate. People of all abilities, ages, ethnicities, gender identities, political leanings, races, religious traditions, sexual orientations, and socio-economic backgrounds are welcome at Resurrection.
WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE?
We belong to the Episcopal Church, a Christian tradition that began in England in the 1500s. The Church’s historic creeds summarize our beliefs, with Jesus at the heart of everything we do.
