Showers of Blessing
Showers of Blessings is a remarkable program operated by churches throughout the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. Its mission is to extend a helping hand to men, women, and children who are experiencing homelessness in the coastal area of San Diego County. By providing showers, this program recognizes the fundamental human need for cleanliness–restoring dignity, promoting well-being, and offering hope to those facing challenging circumstances.
At our church, the showers are accompanied by a hot meal served by the Alley Ministry, on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Contact Jeff Green to volunteer for Showers of Blessings or to make donations.
Volunteers are trained and certified. Everyone who volunteers to serve at Showers of Blessings is required to complete Safe Church Safe Communities training before participating.

Easter Sunday
This Easter Sunday, we’re celebrating the hope that gives Resurrection Church its name—Christ's resurrection! Join us at 10AM at 2083 Sunset Cliffs Blvd for joyful worship in beautiful Ocean Beach. We’ll have brunch after the service, and kids are more than welcome. Come as you are—we’d love to see you there
Good Friday Prayer Walk
The Peninsula Faith Leaders invite you on a pilgrimage through Ocean Beach’s historic Church Row, with stations throughout the neighborhood. Each stop will be hosted by a local church and reflect a portion of the story of Jesus as he journeys to the cross. Groups will depart from St. Peter’s between 12:00-2:00 pm. Join anytime that is convenient. The walk will take approximately 45 min-1 hr, at 1 mile and is mostly flat. Transportation will be provided from the end of the route back to the beginning.

Palm Sunday Worship
Join us on Palm Sunday for the triumph and tragedy of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and his journey to the cross.

Zydeco Mass Field Trip
It’s Fat Tuesday! Instead of Holy Guacamole, this month we will take a field trip to the Zydeco Mass at St. Paul’s Cathedral. To carpool, meet at 5 pm at Resurrection’s parking lot; otherwise, join us at the Cathedral for a lively celebration - let the good times roll!
