Membership & Confirmation Class
Interested in becoming a Resurrection member? On Sunday, August 10, after church, Michael Dotson will start a 4-week course blending Episcopal catechesis with Resurrection’s identity and values. Sessions will include teaching, discussion, and suggested readings/homework. Other class dates: August 17, September 7, and September 14.

Pride Parade with EDSD
Every July, San Diego celebrates Pride! Join other Episcopalians from across the Diocese of San Diego to proclaim and affirm our love and support, as well as God’s full inclusion, of our LGBTQIA+ siblings. At 8AM, folks will meet at St. Paul's Cathedral to walk to the starting area. At 9AM, Eucharist will be held near the corner of Harvey Milk St. and Cleveland Ave. at site #40. At 10AM, the parade begins. Wear sun protection, walking shoes, and bring water. Give yourself ample time to park ahead of meeting up.

The 45th Annual Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off
Resurrection will have a booth at this beloved annual tradition offering eclectic fun in the sun for all ages. Join tens of thousands of visitors to our town from 10 am to 8 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for a tasty festival nosh, art, beachfront entertainment, shopping, and more. Showers of Blessing
Showers of Blessings is a remarkable program operated by churches throughout the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego. Its mission is to extend a helping hand to men, women, and children who are experiencing homelessness in the coastal area of San Diego County. By providing showers, this program recognizes the fundamental human need for cleanliness–restoring dignity, promoting well-being, and offering hope to those facing challenging circumstances.
At our church, the showers are accompanied by a hot meal served by the Alley Ministry, on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Contact Jeff Green to volunteer for Showers of Blessings or to make donations.
Volunteers are trained and certified. Everyone who volunteers to serve at Showers of Blessings is required to complete Safe Church Safe Communities training before participating.
