A series of free, public screenings of movies to inspire, enlighten, and heal us in such a time as this.
As anthropogenic environmenal destruction increasingly radicalizes young people around the world, our society is forced to consider the ethics of eco-defense. What life experiences would funnel young people into the climate victim-to-ecoterrorist pipeline? And, given our indecisiveness on climate action, what alternatives has our society left them?
This month we will screen a recent indie film that uses the cinematic language of heist thrillers to explore arguments in favor of radical direct action even to the point of sabotage and property destruction. Join us to debate the ethics of violence in self-defense of humanity and our planet.
Join us at 7pm on the second Friday of each month for these free, public screenings, followed by discussion. All are welcome. Click here to reserve your spot, and follow the series to be kept in the loop!
