Come celebrate Juneteenth — a day that honors the long and arduous struggle of Black Americans toward freedom and equality.
The celebration will start with a Eucharist at 4 PM that commemorates the legacy of liberation that was a long-time coming, and yet still remains a call to which we aspire as Christ followers. Then, we’ll have a time of food and fellowship with a potluck, games, and dance party* meant to cultivate the community connections and center the joy necessary to continue the work of resistance and reconciliation. Join us for a sacred and joyous evening of commemoration, celebration and commitment.
